STOUGHTON, Mass. – Michael Glen Andrews, 49, of Stoney Brook Lane, Attleboro, Mass., died on Sunday, July 18, at the New England Sinai Hospital following a courageous three-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. He was the husband of Jane F. (Hurley) Andrews, to whom he was married on Aug. 30, 1981.

Born in Danvers, Mass., May 6, 1955, he was a son of Robert and Judith “Judy” (Smith) Andrews, of Norway. He was raised and educated in Danvers, where he was a 1973 graduate of Danvers High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Bryant College, Smithfield, R.I.

Mr. Andrews was employed as the manager of the precious metals department of Stearn & Leach, Attleboro for the past 12 years. He resided in Attleboro for the past 20 years, having previously resided in Sharon for two years.

Mr. Andrews a communicant of Holy Ghost Church, Attleboro for many years and had served the church community as a longtime lector. He was a member of the International Precious Metals Industry. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, golf, running and participating in community road races, playing the guitar and song writing.

In addition to his wife of 22 years and his parents, he leaves a son, Christopher Michael Andrews at home in Attleboro; two sisters, Kimberly Brown and her husband, Paul Brown, of Danville, Calif., and Caren Raby and her husband, Ron Raby, of York; his father and mother-in-law, James and Barbara (Booker) Hurley, of Needham; a brother-in-law, Mark F. Hurley and his wife, Molly (Nolan) Hurley, of Pembroke; four nieces, Meghan and Katie Brown, of Danville, Calif., Lindsay Raby, of York and Catherine Hurley, of Pembroke; and a nephew, Patrick Brown, of Danville, Calif.
