AUBURN – New Auburn Seniors will join the First Auburn Seniors for the annual picnic Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the Hasty Memorial Armory. Cost is $2 and tickets will be on sale at the regular meeting Wednesday, Aug. 4.

The regular meeting was held July 7 with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. July birthdays were noted and token gifts given. Pot of gold winners were Severin Dickinson, Georgette Poliquin and Grace Anctil.

Winners of the craft display were: first prize, Irene Delorme; second, Virginia Levasseur; third, Theresa Roberge. They were presented gifts of money and a framed picture of them with their craft. All other participants received a thank-you and token gifts.

A four-day trip is being offered Oct. 31 to Atlantic City. Cost is $225 and is open to anyone who wishes to go. Call Jean at 784-5264.

The meeting adjourned, a light lunch was served and bingo followed. There will be no dinner in July so the kitchen crew can have a rest.
