WEST PARIS – Gerhard Stahl, 65, of 346 Center Minot Hill Road, Minot died Thursday, July 22, at Ledgeview Nursing Home following a long illness.

He was born June 8, 1939 in Flensburg, Germany, the son of Ernest and Lucia Gessen Stahl, and had been a resident of Minot for most of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Lucia Stahl of Minot; two nephews, Charles Kohler of Massachusetts, and David Kohler of Minot; one niece, Linda Kohler of Massachusetts; and a great-nephew, Kyle Kohler of Minot.

He was predeceased by his sister, Rotraut Christian who died in 1991.
