LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Cindy Obie and Joel Caron, both of Lewiston.
The future bride is the daughter of Robert Obie of Lewiston and Irene Obie of Auburn. She is a 1989 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2003 graduate of Central Maine Technical College, with a degree in accounting. She is employed at Reny Property Management and Fancy Stitchers.
The future bridegroom is the son of Patrick Caron of Bowdoin and Beverly Desrosier of Auburn. He is a 1988 graduate of Freeport High School and a 1999 graduate of Central Maine Technical College with a degree in machine tool technology. He is employed at Kennebec Tool and Die.
The wedding will be held in Harpswell on Aug. 7.
