RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. William F. Perkins of Rumford was celebrated 2 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004 at St. Athanasius – St. John Church, Rumford, with Fr. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Organist was Mr. Mark Belanger. Special music “The Old Rugged Cross & Wind Beneath My Wings” was given by soloist & guitarist Elaine Michaud. Readings were given by Sr. Sandra Ramey and Kelly Folsom. Prayers of the Faithful were given by Barbara Doherty Eulogy was given by Joanne Kelcourse and Carol Hotham. Committal services were conducted by Deacon Rod Berger. Interment was at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed the services at the parish hall of St. Athanasius -St. John Church.
