Open house

PERU – The Peru Historical Society will hold an open house from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the Rockemeka Grange Hall, Peru Center Road.

The curator will be on hand to show the collection of Peru memorabilia and answer questions. Membership forms will also be available for those interested in joining the society.

Following the open house, there will be a public baked beans and casserole supper at 5 p.m.

Bridge results

RUMFORD – The Rumford Bridge Club winners at the July 15 duplicate game were: first, Paula Humbert and Clara Roy; second, George Kimball and Bob Soucy; and third, Eric and Marilyn Shalberg.

The club meets at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the Senior Center on Congress Street. All bridge players are welcome. Anyone wishing more information can call Bill Hersey at 364-8660.
