WILTON – The East Wilton Union Church will host “Concerts on the Lawn” for the five Sunday evenings in August. The Campbells, a group of gospel singers, will present the first program starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at the church.
The Campbells are a full-time group that sings Southern gospel music. They have traveled extensively throughout the East Coast, as well as other parts of the nation. They have released several recordings and have appeared on national and local television programs.
All are welcome to the concerts. If it rains, the concert will be held in the church auditorium. A free will offering will be taken. Light refreshments will be served after the concert. More information may be obtained by calling 645-4297.
