JAY – Police charged a Jay woman with two counts of theft for allegedly taking about $4,000 from a bank account that wasn’t hers.

Detective Russell Adams summonsed Karen Cutchin, 30, after an investigation into money withdrawn from a family member’s account.

The Otis Federal Credit Union reported that someone had withdrawn a substantial amount of money from a family member’s account on two separate occasions, Chief Larry White Sr. said.

Cpl. Jeffrey Fournier received the complaint from the credit union on July 13. Adams charged Cutchin eight days later.
