OTISFIELD – Events for the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church during August, besides at 10 a.m. worship service, will be as follows:

Aug. 1, communion during the morning service; Aug. 8, guest speaker; Aug. 15, baptismal service during the morning service; Aug. 21, annual scholarship fund-raising craft fair at the South Paris Legion Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Aug. 22, church officers’ meeting after the morning service; and Aug. 29, the annual Joe Holden picnic.

The morning service will be held at 11 a.m. for that Sunday only. Weather permitting, a picnic will follow the morning service. There will be free peanuts and ice cream for those who attend. People should bring a bag lunch. All are welcome.

The West Area Association supper will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, followed by a business meetings.
