LIVERMORE FALLS – An attempted burglary at R-N-K’s eatery on Main Street was reported Saturday.

Someone also tried to break into a doctor’s office on Union Street the week before.

There was no entry at either place, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

The attempted burglary at R-N-K’s occurred late Friday or early Saturday, the chief said. Entry was attempted through a back door.

The place has been burglarized twice in the past, he said.

The attempted entry into the locked Rockomeka Family Practice was reported July 19.
