NORWAY – Norway Unitarian Universalist Church’s “Sundays at Seven” program continues with a special Aug. 1 program of shared music.
The public is invited to join the “singing circle” in the concert hall. Church choir director Heather Pierce will lead in a casual evening of song, as she keeps the beat on her drum. The program/service will start at 7 p.m. in the music hall, with refreshments to follow.
Summer evening services will be held at 7 p.m. in the concert hall in the church, 479 Main St. The worship committee has arranged a variety of programs “in the cool of the evening.” Services continue Aug. 1, 8 and 15.
Nature cruise
OXFORD – The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, in the Wal-Mart parking lot for a 10 a.m. departure on the Casco Bay Lines nature cruise to Bailey Island. Visitors are welcome. Bring a picnic lunch. People wanting more information should call John Crumpton at 539-2902.
50-year class
RUMFORD – The graduates of the class of 1954 from Stephens High School will hold its 50-year class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Madison Motel.
More than 50 classmates have responded, plus many of their guests. The committee is still looking for Jean Chiasson Cobb. If anyone knows her whereabouts, they are asked to respond.
