PORTLAND (AP) – Angel Pagan drove in four runs while Chase Lambin and Brett Harper collected three RBIs apiece as the Binghamton Mets beat the Portland Sea Dogs 15-4 Wednesday in the Eastern League.

Jesus Medrano hit a two-run homer for the Sea Dogs.

The Mets (59-44) led throughout the game. Their biggest innings were the sixth, eighth and ninth. Consecutive doubles by Pagan, Ron Acuna and Harper sparked three runs in the sixth. Pagan’s RBI double and Lambin’s two-run homer were the big blows in Binghamton’s four-run eighth.

Pagan’s bases-loaded single was the key hit as the Mets scored four times in the ninth.

The Sea Dogs (48-55) tallied solo runs in the fourth and sixth innings, then scored twice in the eighth on Medrano’s two-run shot over the left-field wall.

Jason Scobie (4-2) pitched seven strong innings. He struck out four, walked one and allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings to earn the win.

Portland starter Abe Alvarez (8-7) took the loss.
