GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) – An Israeli helicopter fired two missiles Thursday at a Palestinian car in the Gaza Strip, killing at least two people, Palestinian security sources said.

The missiles hit the car as it was nearing the entrance of the Gaza town of Rafah, not far from the Egyptian border, the Palestinian sources said.

Israeli helicopters often target militants. It was unclear whether the dead belonged to one of the militant groups.

The army had no immediate comment.
