NORWAY – The next Coffeehouse Open Mic will be tonight at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

Sign-up for performers begins at 6:30, and the open mike begins around 7 p.m. Performers of all ages are urged to bring their acoustic instruments, music, dance, comedy and poetry.

This is a venue for first-timers and veteran performers looking for a forum to try out new material.

Everyone is welcome; participation is not required.

Now in its third year, open mic nights are hosted by Maine performer and recording artist Heather Pierson at the historic downtown church.
