LEWISTON – Kenneth M. Sinclair, 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend died Friday, July 30, after a long battle and many complications with cancer.
He was born Dec. 25, 1929, a son of Myrtie L. (Cole) and William E. Sinclair.
He married Louise Fortier on May 15, 1950.
He worked at the Oxford Paper Mill for 43 years, and retired in 1989. Since retirement, he and Louise would spend winters in Florida, playing golf and picking up seashells on the beach.
He loved hunting, golfing, reading, having family get-togethers, and just having his family around him. He was always the life of the party with his “unique” sense of humor. Everyone who knew him loved him, and he will be missed terribly by all.
Besides his wife of 54 years, Louise M. (Fortier) Sinclair, he is survived by five daughters, Kenora Hogdson and her husband Steven of Mexico, Karen Belyea and her husband Terry of Mexico, Sandra Bouchard of Rumford, Tina Schau and her husband Jon of Sudbury, Mass., and Jackie Plante and her husband Bruce of Rumford; one son; Kenneth L. Sinclair and his wife Tracy of Wernersville, Pa.; three sisters, Pauline Gotto and her husband Bob, Barbara Bernard, and Joyce Stewart and her husband Clifford, all of Mexico; three brothers, Harry Sinclair and his wife Olga of Frye, Marshall Sinclair, and Tom Sinclair and his wife Marion, all of Mexico; 12 grandchildren, Debbie, Brian, Diane, Jill, Paul, Kim, Kendra, Lianne, Danny, Lisa, Cassie, and Bill; four great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kennedy, Curtis, and Isabella, with two more on their way in September; one aunt, Gene Fowler and her husband Danny of Dixfield; many nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law on his wife’s side of the family.
He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Rexford and Bruce; and two sisters, Emily and Edna. He will be truly missed by all.
