AUBURN – Matica, captivating multicultural rhythm, music and fun for people of all ages, will perform at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, for Wednesdays in the Park at Festival Plaza.
Through acts of daring and skill, Matica captivates audiences of all ages, incorporating audience participation and involvement into their high-energy shows.
Audiences see Matica’s skills in juggling clubs and balls, devil sticks, poi, the famed Chinese yo-yo, extreme unicycling and a six-foot unicycle with a rolling globe.
Each performance is unique, combining comedy with elegance and athleticism, and is used as a vehicle to connect with people by demonstrating the value of a smile and the vast capabilities of the human body.
Heidi and Joel speak Spanish fluently and often incorporate traditional Latin songs into their shows. Admission is free. Rain site is the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St., Lewiston.
