LEWISTON – A. Nadine Davis, 68, a resident of Larry Drive, Lisbon, for the past 14 years, and a former longtime resident of Auburn, died unexpectedly Sunday evening, Aug. 1, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born in Portland May 18, 1936, the daughter of Sewell W. and Evelyn (McDonald) Davis Sr. and was educated in the schools of Auburn.
Ms. Davis was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed the interest of taking long car rides and looking at the scenery, shopping at flea markets, working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She also drew great enjoyment doing her housework.
She loved raising and playing with her cat, “Baby” given to her by her granddaughter, Stacy. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Diane M.) Snyder, of Litchfield; two sons, Ronald P. Davis, of Auburn and Richard A. Davis, of Lisbon; six grandchildren, Shawn A. Noyes, Stacy L. Randell, Sarah A. Wing, Samatha S. Snyder, Jacob A. Davis and Benjamin L. Davis.
She was predeceased by a stepbrother, Sewell W. Davis Jr.
