AUBURN – Dorothy Melvina Daniels St. Hilaire, born in Lewiston July 5, 1913, daughter of Florian and Annie Dutil Daniels, died on Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Clover Manor.

Married William “Bill” St. Hilaire Oct. 18, 1932. He died March 25, 1976. She was a homemaker all her life. Bringing her much pleasure was sharing outings with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Raymond “Joan” Morin, of Lewiston and Florida, Mrs. Leo “Joline” Pelletier, of Auburn, Mrs. Gerry “Judy” Lavigne, of Cumberland Foreside; two sons, Richard-Sarasota, of Florida, and Dennis and wife, Helene, of Lewiston; one sister, Florence Daniels, of Greene; a sister-in-law, Marcelle Daniels, of Lewiston; a brother-in-law, Roger St. Hilaire; two sisters-in-law, Mae Evrard and Therese St. Hilaire; many nieces and nephews; 20 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a baby daughter in 1941; four sisters, Alfreda Alves, Blanche St. Hilaire, Malvina Lapointe, Marie Gauthier; and two brothers, Lucien Pelletier and Florian Daniels Jr.
