LEWISTON – Football League for Youth (FLY) will be issuing equipment for all Junior and Senior Division players on Saturday, August 7 at Montello Field. Teams are asked to report, as follows: 8 a.m., Senior Lions; 8:30, Junior Lions; 9:00, Senior Giants; 9:30, Junior Giants; 10:00, Senior Steelers; 10:30, Junior Steelers; 11:00, Senior Redskins; 11:30, Junior Redskins.

A special registration will be held from 8-10 a.m. at Montello Field for players, cheerleaders, and flag football participants who were unable to attend the previous enrollment sessions. The cost for football and cheering is $60 for the first child; $25 for additional children, or a maximum of $100 per family. Flag participation is $25 per child.

Youngsters between the ages of 6-7 will be housed in a flag-based, 7-week instructional program; those 8-10 will compete in the Junior Division; and ages 11-13 are entered in the Senior Division.

Games will be played at Lewiston Athletic Park, with opening day set for Sunday, August 29.
