CANTON – The Apollus Jones family reunion will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at the Canton Municipal Building. A potluck meal at noon, so all are asked to bring a food dish for the buffet table. Participants are also responsible for their own drinks, chairs, entertainment and children.

There will be a 50/50 raffle. All are asked to report complete addresses of all family members to Lorelei at 890-4871.

Arsenault family

DIXFIELD – The ninth annual Agape and Florence Arsenault family reunion was held at Mountain View Campground, Route 142, on July 10.

With 73 people in attendance, oldest family member there was Lucien Arsenault of Mexico. The youngest member was Breighdyn Jesse Mason, son of Justine Laurinaitis, grandson of David and Debbie Laurinaitis of Mexico and great-grandson of Mac and Elaine McPherson of Rumford Center.

Traveling the farthest this year were Kenny Chamberlain, son of Ann Ramee of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and John and Jesse Arsenault, sons of John and Nancy Arsenault of Hollywood, Fla. All are the grandsons of Jerry and Shirley Arsenault of Rumford.

Next year’s reunion is scheduled for Saturday, July 9.

Worthley family

WELD – The Worthley family reunion (Phillips branch) will be held starting at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Mount Blue State Park, Webb Beach.
