LEWISTON – Colette Nadeau, 68, of Sabattus Street, Lewiston, died Friday morning, Aug. 6, at her home.

Born Nov. 17, 1935, in Bordeaux, France, she was the daughter of Gervais and Madeleine Loora Lafon.

She worked for 28 years at Ward Bros., and later owned and operated Nadeau’s Etc., adjacent to Nadeau’s Bakery, with her special friend, Elaine Cole, until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert Nadeau Jr., of Lewiston; her daughter, Mimi Houle of Lewiston; her son, John and his wife, Debbie, of Auburn; her grandson, Michael Houle of Lewiston; her granddaughter, Christine Nadeau of Auburn; a brother, Rene Lafon and his wife, Therese, a sister-in-law, Rosie Lafon, and a special niece, Danie Mozas, all of France; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jacques Lafon.
