LEWISTON – Lucille A. Sylvester, 80, of 14 Cassell St., Lewiston, died Thursday evening, Aug. 5, at D’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.

She was born April 17, 1924, in St. Malachi, P.Q., the daughter of Patrick and Eva Martineau Sylvester. She had been a resident of this community for the past 45 years.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church.

Lucille enjoyed typing poems, painting pictures and playing cards throughout her life.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lena Pepin of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
