WALES – The Wales Presbyterian Church, Route 132, will celebrate 50 years of ministry to the community on Aug. 14.

The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. when coffee, juice and snacks will be served. It will be followed by a worship service and a time for sharing memories.

A barbecue will be served at noon. After lunch there will be games for the children, a display of memorabilia and time for more memory sharing.

A closing worship service and hymn sing will be held at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
