DIXFIELD – Selectmen are to set the tax rate at the board’s meeting at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, in the Ludden Library community room.

Other new items on the agenda include the comprehensive plan, a property tax reimbursement for Irving Wood Products, a sidewalk grant and a Brackett Street street light.

Items up for possible discussion under old business include the new fine structure proposed by the code enforcement officer, Jay Bernard, and approved by selectmen; the personnel policy; the water system improvement program; and the discontinuance of Valley Road.

Department heads are also scheduled to provide monthly reports.
