AUBURN – Months of planning and work by officials of Central Maine Community College and the Lewiston-Auburn Transit Committee have resulted in regularly scheduled Citylink bus service to the College, beginning Thursday, Aug. 12.
Committee representatives will join college officials for the inaugural ride, which will leave the Great Falls bus station at 7:15 a.m.
Citylink will serve the campus four times daily Monday through Friday. Buses will leave Auburn’s Great Falls bus station at 7:15, 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., and arrive on campus within 15 minutes. Return trips leave the college at 7:26, 8:38 and 10:41a.m. and 4:11 p.m.
The fare for a one-way trip is $1; monthly passes are available for $15. The route will also have stops at the Auburn Mall Apartments and Shaw’s Supermarket.
