LEWISTON – The soul of Julia A. “Judy” Lgar flew home to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, Aug. 7. Her praying and adoring family kept watch as she submitted everything in quiet strength to her Creator and Redeemer.

Judy and her beloved husband, Gerard, of 62 years, lived by the Bible principle, True greatness is measured by how we serve others.’

She was a positive thinker with the gift of hospitality, and in her fun loving way, she always had the Scrabble board ready.

Judy and Gerry traveled extensively and she befriended strangers everywhere, always offering a word of encouragement or a charming story accompanied by her warm and beautiful smile. Her cherished faith inspired tender family love. She reached out to others loyally through her birthday book and traditional closing, God bless, Jesus loves you, we do too.’

As her family and friends fondly reflect on her selfless life time, a prayer will be lovingly offered.
