RUMFORD – Lorraine Barre did not side with Jeremy and Kelly Volkernick during a selectmen’s meeting. The Volkernicks want the newly installed stop sign at Penobscot Street and Swift Avenue to remain where it is; Barre asked selectmen to move it. A story on Friday’s B1 of the River Valley edition contained incorrect information.
