HARRISON – Janet C. Gallant, 79, of Harrison died Monday, Aug. 9 at her home.
She was born in North Paris on Aug. 18, 1924, the daughter of Oliver and Etta Cummings. She attended South Paris High School and was the proprietor of Lowe’s Florist in South Paris and Bridgton and worked at Mecon Manufacturing.
She was a member of the Spurr’s Corner CMA Church in Otisfield. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and playing cards. She was married to Ray Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Pike, of Harrison; a son, Ray Harris, of North Windham; two sisters, Evelyne Badger, of Auburn and Dorothy Quinn, of Marlborough, Conn.; four grandchildren, Haley Grant, of Harrison, Patrick Harris, Ryan Harris and Jessica Harris, all of North Windham; and a great-grandson, Hunter Grant.
She was predeceased by a brother, Oliver Cummings; and a granddaughter, Shannon Pike.
