uggler and physical comedian Michael Menes will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

Menes is a kid-friendly performer who combines articulate juggling, inventive contortionism and physical comedy into a mixture of upbeat variety theater. He’s performed around the world since 1982. With performances in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain and the United States, his work transcends language, age and cultural barriers.

Menes’ eclectic training includes dance, circus arts, theater and mime. He studied extensively with mime master and director Tony Montanaro, who founded Celebration Barn. He also has studied and worked with many others, such as Michael Moschen, Fred Garbo and Bob Berky.

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $8 for children 12 and under. Reservations are required and may be made by calling the box office at (207) 743-8452. Celebration Barn Theater is located at 190 Stock Farm Road, just off of Route 117 north.
