DURHAM – Irene Edwards, 56, of Durham, died on Aug. 11, at her home.
Born in Lewiston, Oct. 13, 1947, the daughter of Gerard and Theresa LaPlante, she was a loving wife of 35 years to David Edwards of Durham and loving mother of Daniel Edwards of Dover, N.H.
She worked at Dunlap Corp. for the past nine years. She loved the outdoors and gardening. She was supported by her family and many loving friends.
Survivors also include six brothers and sisters, Raymond LaPlante, of Arlington, Va., Suzanne LaPlante Sargent, of Ellsworth, Andre LaPlante, of Buies Creek, N.C., Gisele LaPlante Berube, of Lisbon, Guy LaPlante, of Lisbon and Claude LaPlante, of Concord, N.H.
