DRESDEN – Jeannine Y. Manduca, 66, of Perry Drive, Dresden, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Lewiston, Sept. 27, 1937, the daughter of Armand and Marie (Cote) Dionne, she graduated from Lewiston High School in 1957.

She worked as a cashier for Shaw’s Supermarket for 19 years, retiring in 1991.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Church in Richmond and past member of Sacred Heart Church in Hallowell. She enjoyed rubber stamping, reading and music.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William “Bill” J. Manduca, of Dresden; sons, William A. Manduca and wife, Jean, of Mississippi, Thomas Manduca and wife, Karen, of Monmouth and Russell Manduca and wife, Tammy, of Augusta; sister, Anita Labbe, of Auburn; nine grandchildren; and two nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents.
