LEWISTON – Lucien P. Pelletier, 95, of Schooner Estates, Auburn, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.
Born at St. Cecile du Bic, P.Q., Canada, Dec. 17, 1908, the son of Polydore and Amanda Berube Pelletier, he was educated in Lewiston schools.
He was married to the former Medora Morin on July 20, 1931, and she died Nov. 16, 1998. He worked as a firefighter for the City of Lewiston for 29 years, retiring in 1971 as a lieutenant.
Mr. Pelletier was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Parish, where he served for many years as an altar server, St. Peter’s Society and the Lewiston Senior Citizens. He enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his daughter, Therese Labbe and her husband, Romeo, of Cheshire, Conn.; two grandchildren, Nancy and Mark Labbe, of Connecticut; his three sisters, Mrs. Lionel (Muriel) Bernier, of Lewiston, Sister Irene Pelletier, of Waterville and Mrs. Eugene (Anita) Fillion, of California; his brother, Lionel Pelletier and his wife, Jeannette, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
