Oh, no! It’s irresponsible, destructive, un-American, too extreme and it will destroy schools!

Have you heard all those nasty words this group is saying about this tax cap and the meetings being held by them to cut only programs that affect kids and seniors and not the fat?

Could the real reason they oppose the tax cap be they are worried about their own pocketbooks? After all, we making big bucks might have to pay higher Maine income taxes.

And remember, only poor people pay taxes, right?

A university professor of mine once pointed out that most big shots – the elite, snobs and even most public officials – take their jobs or office for one reason: Strictly for improving their own lives, not yours!

I hope you’ll join the little common people and vote for the Maine tax cap and make it clear we’re tired of being taxed and over taxed here in Maine!
