GREENE – Announcement is made of the engagement of Meghan Elizabeth Asquith of Greene and Daniel Patrick Diffin of Oxford.
Miss Asquith is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and the University of Maine at Orono. She has been working for the Red Cross Emergency Services through the Americorps Program. She is the daughter of Kathi Asquith and the late Robert Asquith of Greene and the goddaughter of Ronald and Joanne Lebel of Auburn.
Mr. Diffin is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He is employed at the Timmons Group in Richmond, Va., as a civil engineer. He is the son of Christine Diffin of Oxford and Ron Diffin of Oxford.
A June 2006 wedding is being planned.
