LEWISTON – Mr. and Mrs. Raymond M. Marcoux of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Karalyn Anne Marcoux of Washington, D.C., to Brent Fancher Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Powell of Martinez, Ga.

Miss Marcoux, a 2000 graduate of Dickinson College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at George Washington University and is employed as recruiting coordinator at Sonneschein, Nath and Rosenthal, LLP.

Mr. Powell, who holds degrees from the University of Georgia and Harvard Law School, is an associate in the law firm of Covington and Burling.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 4 at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport.
