HEBRON – Following the tradition of the past several years, Hebron Community Baptist Church has suspended Sunday morning services for the summer. The church will resume regular morning worship on Aug. 29.

Even though there are no Sunday morning services, several members are preparing for a vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Monday to Friday, Aug. 23 to 27. Activities will include music, crafts, games, food preparation, Chadder’s (a chipmunk) adventures on video and Bible points.

The program, with a them of “Lava-Lava Island,” is for all kids regardless of their faith. Volunteers are needed. Anyone wishing to help can call Velma at 966-2480 or the pastor, Meredith Dellasandro, at 966-2694 or 897-3373.
