FREEPORT – Albert Moulton Dunton, 68, a former resident of Livermore Falls, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Hawthorne House where he had been a resident for five years.

He was born on Aug. 20, 1935, in Lynn, Mass., a son of the late Clyde E. and Helen Bradbury Dunton and was educated in the Lynn school system. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was also a member of the Army Reserves in Augusta and Biddeford.

He made his home and raised his family in East Livermore for many years and worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier in Livermore Falls. He later transferred to Biddeford, where he lived and worked before retiring in 1990 after 28 years of service.

He was a member of the Oriental Star Masonic Lodge where he served as Master and was also a member of the Livermore Falls Junior Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time “Al” enjoyed motorcycles and antique cars.

He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Pamela and Michael Letalien, of Livermore Falls and Heather and Jamie Levesque, of Florida; two sons and their wives, Kevin and Sherri Dunton, of Livermore Falls and Jeffrey and Autumn Dunton also of Livermore Falls; a brother, Clyde Eugene Dunton Jr. and his wife Joanne, of Ore.; nine grandchildren, Jaime Long, Tylor Austin, Sara Quin, Zachary Austin, Michael Dunton, Jonathon Dunton, Rebecca Dunton, Jennifer Probst and Trisha Alexander; seven great-grandchildren, Keith and Jack Long, Rhyanna, Morgan and Alexys Austin, Logan and Brooklyn Alexander.
