FARMINGDALE – Keith W. Moriarty, 48, of Farmingdale passed away Monday, Aug. 16, at home surrounded by his family and close friends.

He was born in Augusta Aug. 12, 1956, the youngest child of Robert and the late Barbara (Wilde) Moriarty. He was raised in Hallowell until the age of 10 when the family moved to Auburn. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974, where he was a member of the ski team, and from Thomas College in 1978. In 1979, he married the former Donna Bilodeau of Winslow.

He worked for 24 years as comptroller for SW&B Construction Corp. in Auburn. He was actively involved in many of his sons’ sports related activities. He coached and was president of Youth Soccer, Little League, and was treasurer of the Hall-Dale Boosters Club for many years.

He was devoted to his career, but above all, to his family. His favorite times were spent camping at Bar Harbor on Memorial weekend and he shared his love of skiing with his sons and wife at Sugarloaf every winter.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 25 years, Donna, of Farmingdale; son, Ian, of Old Orchard Beach, son, Chad, of Farmingdale; his father, Robert, of Hallowell; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Pam, of Cumberland; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Bruce Jenkins, of Cape Elizabeth; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Joan, of Cape Elizabeth; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother in 2001.
