AUBURN – Richard F. Day, 70, of Lewiston, died on Aug. 16, at Clover Manor.

He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 5, 1933, the son of Alfred and Lillian (Clough) Day.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines. He worked most of his life in construction. He enjoyed yard sales, helping people, staying active, watching wrestling and video games.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon (Libby); sister, Beverly Sirois; daughters, Suzanne Waye, Kathleen Tardiff, Linda Sanborn, Patricia Raymond and Karen Dagneault; son, Lawrence Day; many grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by brothers, Phillip, Alfred, David and Charlie Day; sisters, Mary, Gladys and Eleanor, first wife, Margaret (Peggy) Day and grandson, Jason Tardiff.
