HARTFORD – Descendants of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis are invited to a family reunion starting at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at the Roger Gammon camp on Gurney Hill. There will be a potluck dinner at noon. Activities are the same as two years ago.
Howland-Searles
WILTON – The Howland-Searles reunion will begin at noon on Sunday, Aug. 22, at the Franklin Grange Hall. A potluck lunch will be held at noon, followed by a meeting and an auction.
Merservier family
AUBURN – The Meservier family reunion will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Tot Lot off Route 4. Those attending should bring their own food, drinks, chairs and a craft for the raffle. There will be games and prizes for the children and music. All Merservier relatives are invited.
Milledge-Knauer
ROXBURY – The Milledge-Knauer reunion will take place starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5, at the Milledge camp at Roxbury Pond. Family and friends are welcome. Bring a hot or cold dish to share and a lawn chair.
Richard reunion
DIXFIELD – The family of Wilfred and Ida Lemay Richard held a reunion July 17 at Welch’s Campground. About 100 family members attended and enjoyed a potluck dinner.
Traveling the furthest was Erin Buck Stadley, who came from Bronschoffen, Switzerland. Corsages and boutonnieres were presented to sons and daughters of Wilfred and Ida. There was music, bocci and swimming. The event was organized by the Ivon and Irene Richard Gallant family. The next reunion will be in July 2006.
Reed family
HEBRON – The descendants of Mary Elizabeth and Charles Franklin Reed held a reunion on Aug. 8 at the home of Richard and Jane Hatch. There were 41 family members in attendance.
After a picnic lunch, a meeting was conducted by President Joyce Poole. It was voted to hold next year’s reunion at the same place. Officers elected for the ensuing year were: President, Jane Hatch; vice president, Sherry Giberti; secretary, Norma Gilbert; treasurer, Shirley Hatch. Activities included games and a pie-eating contest with prizes awarded to winners.
Members attended from Lewiston, Leeds, Livermore, Wales, Auburn, Livermore Falls, Litchfield, Buckfield, Greene, Hebron, Jay, South Berwick, Lisbon, Poland and Danvers, Mass.
