AUBURN – Central Maine Community College is offering its Supervisor Series starting Sept. 8.

The series is made up of six modules on the essential skills of a great supervisor.

Each module is $55 or participants may register for the entire series for $245.

Each module will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at Central Maine Community College in Jalbert Hall Room 234.

On Sept. 8, the session will be Coaching for Improved Performance, designed to help participants increase employee performance through successful coaching.

Effective Communication, is scheduled for Sept. 15 and focuses on the various forms of communication as well as the communication process.

The series continues on Sept. 22 with Improving Employee Work Habits, which will prepare supervisors with effective tools to manage mediocre or unsatisfactory team member behavior.

On Sept. 29, Preparing for Change, will be presented. This module will provide participants with techniques to transition employees through change to help lead and grow the organization.

The series ends in October with Dealing with Conflicts, which will help participants identify conflict and provide strategies to resolve them, on Oct. 6 and Teambuilding, which will provide techniques to create strong teams to encourage trust, teamwork and improve productivity scheduled for Oct. 13.
