TRUCKEE, Calif. – Magdalyn M. Anthoine Orlandini Verrill, 88, passed away Aug. 12, at the Tahoe Truckee Extended Care Nursing Home after a long illness. She had been a resident since 1998.

Mrs. Verrill moved from Lewiston in 1980 to Kings Beach, Calif., where she was a resident for 18 years.

Born June 20, 1916, in Lewiston, she was the daughter of Mary and Joseph Anthoine Orlandini.

She was a 1934 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Lewiston.

Survivors include her two daughters, Eileen F. Marquis, of Auburn and Mary Ann Lowell, of Kings Beach, Calif.; a son, James E. Verrill, of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two half-sisters, Beryl Waisanan and Sheryl Waisanan, of West Paris.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Rita Collins and Regina Carew, two brothers, James and Thomas Anthoine Orlandini and one half-brother, James Sacco.
