LEWISTON – The Central Maine Shockers will try to extend their perfect record today with a 1 p.m. showdown against the Penobscot Seadragons at Lewiston Athletic Park.
The Shockers are 4-0 and alone atop the NEFL Maritime Conference (A) standings. Central Maine boasts the most potent offense in the league, averaging 38.8 points per game, and the second stingiest defense, yielding 6.3 ppg.
The Shockers are coming off a 42-12 victory over the Maine Tomcats last week. The Seadragons (1-2) are also coming off a win, their first of the season, 28-7 over the Notre Dame Cobras.
