JAY – VFW Post 3335 and Auxiliary are sponsoring the annual Family Day outing beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28. Barbecued chicken with all the fixings will be served for $5. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be free on the premises.

League meeting

WILTON – The Monday Nite Ladies Bowling League will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Meadow Lanes, when teams will be formed. Bowling will begin on Sept. 13.
