DIXFIELD – The Francis family reunion was held Aug. 14 at the Mountain View Campground with about 100 family members attending from many towns in Maine and as far away as Florida, California, Texas, Tennessee, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

A potluck lunch was held, with conversation and photo-taking for the adults and games for the children.

The oldest attending was Harry Francis, 88, of Dixfield, and the youngest was 2 months. The 50/50 was won by Terry Frost.

The next reunion will be held Aug. 12, 2006, at the Mountain View Campground.
