Perhaps taking a page out of her brother’s book, Janet Jackson comes off a little kooky in a new interview with Genre magazine, in which she says George W. Bush’s administration used Boobgate as part of a conspiracy to distract the country from the war in Iraq. Excerpted in the New York Post, the interview has Janet say: “I truly feel in my heart that the President wanted to take the focus off of him at that time, and I was the perfect vehicle to do so.” Said vehicle being the supposedly inadvertent exposure of her breast during the Super Bowl half-time show. She also regrets ever apologizing for the “wardrobe malfunction.”
