Sen. John Kerry and the Democratic National Committee both claim to call this ad from the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth confounded and untruthful and a willful use of 527 ads. What about MoveOn.org comparing Bush to Hitler? Not one Democrat to date as denounced these ads on record, according to OpenSecrets.org. The Swift boat ad cost $157,750 to produce and distribute to a limited market. DNC soft money – “Media Fund” – raised $28.1 million. America Coming Together, $26.9 million. MoveOn.org, $9.1 million. Service Employees International Union, $16.7 million, and on and on it goes.

The true champions of soft money expenses and use are the Democratic Party and Kerry campaign. Prove me wrong.

Editor’s note: MoveOn.org produces its political advertisements and pays for their placement through a political action committee, which is regulated by the Federal Election Commission.
