LEWISTON – Channel 10 in Augusta, a Maine Public Broadcasting Service station, will experience interruptions in its television service today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and perhaps through the weekend.

Tower work will be done at the Maine PBS site in Litchfield. Both the analog signal, WCBB Channel 10, and the digital signal, WCBB DT Channel 17, will be down.

Service may also be interrupted on the weekend. No specific hours for the weekend interruptions were available from the station. Weather conditions and technical issues could prolong the tower work.
