Substance abuse, which includes alcohol dependency and chemical drug addictions, is a problem which cost the state in many ways. While many legislators, both Democrats and Republicans, have good intentions regarding this area, few understand the problem like Ken Roberts. He’s done substance abuse facilitating so he knows the realities of this disease.

Working in this field myself, I know how misguided many public perceptions are regarding this.

Ken’s worked for housing for the elderly, tutored for literacy volunteers and worked for good roads in Maine. I’ve been impressed by the way he listens to what others have to say. He’s committed to giving the voters of a voice in Augusta.

Ken Roberts is the Democratic candidate for the legislative seat that includes Hebron, Minot and Turner.

I hope that voters will conclude as I have that Ken has the qualifications, commitment and desire to serve us well in Augusta.
