LEWISTON – Geraldine J. Cunningham, 92, formerly of 12 Bradley St., died Thursday, Aug. 26, at Marshwood Center for Health Care & Rehabilitation where she had resided for the past 14 years.
She was born in Lewiston, Sept. 25, 1911, a daughter of James P. and Anora Breen Murphy. She was educated in Lewiston schools and attended Mount St. Charles Academy in Richmond, P.Q., Canada.
She was married to Thomas O. Cunningham who died in July 1969. Mrs. Cunninghan was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish and enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking molasses cookies.
She is survived by her son, Thomas and wife, Rolande Cunningham, of Mechanic Falls; her grandchildren, Tim and Melissa Cunningham, Jimmy, Kevin, David and their mom, Nancy Cunningham, Katherine, Yunni and Robert Michaud.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Rose Mary (Michaud) Tarkini, a son, Daniel Cunningham, and a grandson, Sgt. Daniel Cunningham in Iraq of this year.
